I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. As a Practicum Intern at FL Psychotherapy, I practice under the clinical supervision of François Levert, ensuring that you receive the highest standard of care as we work together towards assisting you.
About my practice
Life can sometimes feel like an uphill battle. It can leave us feeling stuck or in need of support. We may fall into patterns that work against us. Only when we become aware of these patterns, and become present with our emotions, can the healing process start.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey. My goal is to provide a warm, non-judgmental, and inclusive space where you feel safe to explore your inner world. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals who feel paralyzed by their current circumstances and are seeking a path toward clarity and resilience. I have experience working with immigrants and newcomers – I understand these positions can come with cultural obstacles that may result in fear or hesitance seeking therapy. I am also familiar supporting with grief, life transitions, and emotional struggles.
Whether you are navigating the heavy weight of family trauma, struggling with the complexities of relationship problems, feeling burnt-out with workplace stress or finding yourself overwhelmed by depression and anxiety, you do not have to carry these burdens alone. It takes courage to ask for help, and I’m here to support you through this process. Thank you for your trust.
My Approach
Every individual’s story is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals. I draw from several evidence-based modalities to help you gain insight and make meaningful changes:
>Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helping you stay present and move toward what truly matters to you.
>Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Focusing on your strengths and finding practical steps toward the future you want.
>Narrative Therapy (NT): Exploring the stories you tell about your life and how to re-author them in a way that empowers you.
>Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and shifting the thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and stress.
>Internal Family Systems (IFS): Understanding the different “parts” of yourself to find inner harmony and healing.

I believe in the healing potential of connection: within, with each other, and with the larger meaning of our lives.
Walking this path of connection can be hard and you don’t have to do it alone!
I offer transdiagnostic psychotherapy from an integrative lens that is open to all paths.
I can support you for a better relationship with your internal world (thoughts, emotions, sensations, impulses), in investing towards a fuller life, and navigating distress whether it stems from trauma, grief, separation, or life transitions.
In an individual, couple or family setting, we can work on building relational capacity: communication, safe attachment, healthy conflict resolution, informed decisions, and more.
I’m licensed to offer psychotherapy and I’m a registered social worker in Ontario. I hold an additional graduate diploma in couple counseling, trauma certification, and training in evidence-based approaches that I can integrate in sessions as needed, mainly IFS, Somatic EMDR, ACT, and EFT.
I also have therapeutic expertise with adults facing mental health and relational challenges. My most recent experience includes working since 2022 in an adult mental health clinic offering individual mental health services, and animating mental health treatment groups for various needs such as anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. Previously, I’ve worked for more than thirteen years with children and youth in a private clinical setting. I have also conducted research and coordinated projects with different populations (Linguistic minorities, Deaf LSQ, Indigenous). I have thus developed a varied experience in evidence-based, arts-based, experiential, spiritual, trauma-informed and culturally safe therapy, interventions, and research.
In our sessions, you can expect a grounded and calm space, that is conducive to co-exploration, where we can attune to the experience with openness, compassion, and curiosity. We will build upon your potential and your wisdom to move gradually, and at your own pace, towards the life that you envision.
I offer services in English, French, and Arabic.

Healing is a process, therapy is a process, and life is the biggest process we can face. By choosing to seek support, you create the opportunity to grow, as a partner, as a parent, as a person. You invest in yourself because you deserve it. You begin to confront the patterns that have held you back, and build resilience along the way. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Remember, you no longer have to face it alone.
My approach
I use an integrative approach based on the needs of my clients. This may involve different theories of human psychological development, and emotion and neuroscience research. My interventions promote greater self-resilience, authenticity, wholeness, and healthy interdependence in relationships.
In couple and family therapy, I specialize in emotion-focused therapy (EFT). EFT aims to improve the ability to express one’s emotions and to better understand oneself and others. I believe that learning new ways to interact with each other can create a new dynamic full of respect and love.
In individual therapy, I have a great interest in the treatment of emotional regulation, and how this could improve other behavioral disorders (e.g. eating behaviors, addiction, depression and anxiety). I also have experience helping clients deal with existential issues and establish new meaning in life. I am comfortable working with people of diverse socio-cultural identity groups (e.g, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity).

Life can be tough, but it can feel a hundred times tougher when you are doing it alone! Struggling with big life changes, unexpected events, or just trying to figure out adulting while managing anxiety or depression can be exhausting. These pivotal times can also be the most lonely. As both a therapist and a human being, I understand that mental health looks and feels different for everyone, that’s why I believe that the power of therapy is strongest when the connection is built on a deep understanding. Together, we can find an approach that suits you!
My BA in Child and Youth studies gives me a deeper understanding of childhood wounds that can follow us into adulthood and impact our mental health. I have 7 years of experience working with children and adolescents, supporting and assisting them through various life transitions and struggles as a CYW. I also have several years of experience working alongside adults, helping them unlearn lessons and create new, more positive ones that align with their values and goals.
I take on a person-centered, compassionate approach to therapy as I understand that each client is unique with their own specific goals and needs. By utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy, we can begin to foster positive changes in your life.
Working alongside me, you’ll be met with compassion, skill, and care. Wherever you may be on your journey, I am here to offer support, empathy, validation, and a sense of safety to show you that you are never really alone. Together, we will explore your inner world and address what is holding you back so that you may deepen your connection to self and restore inner peace.

Healing can feel difficult and overwhelming, especially when old patterns keep showing up in our lives and relationships. Reaching out for support takes courage, and therapy can offer a safe space to slow down, reflect, and better understand yourself. You do not have to go through life’s challenges alone. Together, we can work toward healing, personal growth, and healthier connections with yourself and others.
My Approach
I believe therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate, and genuine. My role is not to fix you, but to support and guide you as you navigate life’s challenges, emotions, and transitions. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can openly express yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
I use an integrative, client-centered approach that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. My work combines evidence-based therapies such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also draw from neuroscience and attachment research to better understand how emotions, past experiences, and relationships influence our thoughts, behaviours, and sense of self.
I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I also help individuals explore identity, meaning, and self-compassion while developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
In couples therapy, I focus on improving communication, strengthening emotional connection, and helping partners move through cycles of conflict and disconnection. I believe healing and growth become possible when people feel truly heard, understood, and emotionally safe.
I value working with people from diverse cultural, relational, gender, and sexual identity backgrounds, and I aim to honour the unique experiences and strengths each person brings into therapy. Although starting therapy can feel vulnerable, it can also be the beginning of a more connected, balanced, and fulfilling life.

I believe that owning our story is one of the bravest things we can do. It takes an immense amount of courage to face the parts of ourselves that feel heavy, overwhelming, or painful. If you are reading this, you have already taken the first difficult step and opened yourself to the possibility of change. My role is to walk alongside you in your journey, offering a place of compassion and encouragement for you to explore both the light and the dark parts of your story so that you can live a more wholehearted life that aligns with your core values, wants, and needs.
My style can be described as calm, collaborative, and gently challenging. Together we will create a space where you feel safe to express yourself while being encouraged toward meaningful change. I take an integrative approach to therapy, adapting each session to your needs, pace, and goals. I draw from person-centered and humanistic perspectives as well as various evidence-based models such as Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). With over a decade of non-clinical experience in the public sector, I have supported a wide range of individuals in solving their personal and professional problems, setting and reaching goals, and ultimately ensuring they feel like they have truly been heard. My educational background in neuroscience also allows me to combine evidence-based psychological tools with an understanding of the biological foundations of human behaviour, providing a well-rounded and holistic approach to healing and growth.
I am continually inspired by the courage people show when they take that first step toward change, and I would consider it a privilege to walk alongside you in your healing journey. After all, we’re all just stories in the end, and together we will embrace its fullness - the struggles, the triumphs, and everything in between. If you’re ready to explore your story and create new possibilities, I’m honoured to walk that path with you.

Feeling like you were meant for more? Anxiety, depression, or trauma preventing a better life? You’re worth the investment in getting the help you need. I use the most scientifically viable, evidence-based methods and techniques to help you live a better life. This isn’t magic – it is work – but together through guided exercises, insight, and exploration of your self and your difficulties we can make progress towards your goals and improve your quality of life. Congratulations on taking this important step towards personal wellbeing!
I have worked as a therapist with numerous individuals to help them overcome depression, anxiety and fears, and difficulties in their relationships. I have particular interest and experience working with individuals impacted by trauma and grief, directly and indirectly, as well as anyone facing existential questions and wanting to find more meaning and purpose in life. I believe people look to resolve current issues, be they inter- or intra-personal, in the hopes of becoming better people and finding happiness in themselves, their relationships, and in living their purpose.
Based on the foundations of object relations theories, I use evidence-based techniques built upon lessons learned in my over ten-year career to offer a safe environment where we can explore the most important things to you. Everyone struggles and everyone suffers, but there is hope, there is happiness, and there is peace available.
After having worked for over ten years in private, semi-private and public institutions, I have spent my time applying the lessons learned in project and people management — coupled with my depth of interest and education on the human condition – to help individuals achieve their life goals as a therapist. I also offer workshops and training related to the incorporation of mindfulness, object relations theories, and psychology principles in the management of employees, work, and life itself.
